Bernard Carr PhD
He is a Professor Emeritus of Mathematics and Astronomy at Queen Mary University of London (UK) and the President of the Scientific and Medical Network. His interests span science, religion, and psychical research, intending to bridge these fields. His work also focuses on extending physics to include consciousness and related mental and spiritual phenomena.

He earned his BA in Mathematics in 1972 from Trinity College, Cambridge (UK). For his doctorate, obtained in 1976, he studied Relativity and Cosmology under the guidance of Stephen Hawking at the Institute of Astronomy in Cambridge and the California Institute of Technology (USA).

In 1975, he was elected a Fellow at Trinity and became a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Astronomy in Cambridge in 1980. He transitioned to Queen Mary University of London in 1985. Over the years, he has also held Visiting Professorships at various institutions across the United States, Canada, and Japan. He served as the President of the Society for Psychical Research from 2000 to 2004.
